There is also St. John's Chapel, and the Jewel House is also located right here, in which the World Famous Kohinoor diamond is also kept. In the whole year, the Jewel House is kept closed only in February.
Big Ben - On the banks of the River Thames while going to Westminster Bridge and Westminster Abbey sound of bell is heard in every 15 minutes which comes from Big Ben.The clock and the dial were designed by Augustus Pugin and it’s dial were gold platted. In Gilt words on Big Ben, "DOMINE SALVAM FAC REGINAM NOSTRAM VICTORIAM PRIMAM" has been written, which means "O Lord, keep our Queen Victoria the first safe". This clock was the largest and most accurate four-faced striking and chiming clock in the world. The official name of the tower in which Big Ben is located was originally the Clock Tower, but it was renamed Elizabeth Tower.
